Affiliate disclosure policy

How we earn commissions, and what our creators are required to disclose.

Last updated August 2026

Commissions we earn

Mileage Grind and Hey Judy participate in affiliate programs with travel booking sites and voucher providers. When you follow a link from us and complete a booking or purchase, we may receive a commission from that merchant at no additional cost to you. We are not a travel agency and we do not act as your agent — the booking site is the merchant of record for any travel you purchase.

Commissions never change the price you pay, and they never change how many Grind Miles you earn or what those miles are worth when you redeem them.

Creators who promote us

We operate a paid creator referral program. Creators who share a Mileage Grind referral code or link receive compensation and free product. Under the FTC’s Endorsement Guides (16 CFR Part 255), that is a material connection and it must be disclosed clearly and conspicuously in every post, video, story, email or livestream that promotes us.

A disclosure must appear before any “more” truncation, in the spoken audio of video content, and not only in a bio, hashtag block or link page — for example, “Paid partnership with Mileage Grind — I earn a commission if you subscribe.” Creators may not misstate the rewards program, guarantee drawing outcomes, describe Grind Miles as airline miles or a currency with cash value beyond published redemption terms, or make health claims about coffee.

If you see a post promoting us without a disclosure, tell us at hello@mileagegrind.com and we will address it.

How attribution works

We use first-touch attribution with a 60-day window plus a permanent creator code. The first creator you arrive through is credited for the life of your membership. Referral codes are stored in your browser and passed with your order so the correct creator is credited — see our privacy policy.

For creators in the program

The disclosure, advertising and conduct standards every creator must follow are published in our creator conduct & disclosure rules. Commission rates, payout timing and clawbacks are set out in the creator program terms, which are available to creators after signing in. To join, see the creator program page.
